Modern young people not only use digital technologies, they are also exploring the possibilities of their application in education. On November 13, a competition of student research projects on the topic “Using the possibilities of digital technologies” was held at the ArkGPI named after I. Altynsarin. The competition was held as part of the Republican Forum with international participation on the topic "Digital Education: Features and Trends of Development", dedicated to the Year of Youth.
The purpose of the competition: research and search for comprehensive aspects of the use of digital technology in education.
Tasks of the competition: development of a system of indicators for evaluating the processes of informatization in various areas of society consideration of informatization as a key factor in the development of various public spheres; definition of features of programming languages in the environment of information and communication technologies; the ability to use information technology in education.

Participants in the competition have in fact proved their ability to think creatively, apply their analytical skills and also the skills of effective presentation - all this with the use of advanced digital tools. Such a keen interest of young people in the competition and the topic of digital technologies in education was very pleasing.
